Highest town of Germany? edit

Even though this claim is sourced, I'd refute it, as the municipality's website just try to advertise this place (which is excusable). Oberwiesenthal has between 2000 and 3000 inhabitants and as such can not be qualified as a "town", which depending on standards starts at 5'000 or 10'000 inhabitants, in Germany.

The highest village of Germany is probably Feldberg (Schwarzwald), and the highest town is probably Sonthofen, unless Oberstdorf counts with it's 9'000 inhabitants.2A02:1205:5047:DEE0:95B3:B0B1:481D:4015 (talk) 20:00, 27 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Whether you like it or not, Oberwiesenthal is a town, the municipality has been awarded town privileges, please see also the introduction at List of cities and towns in Germany. Further information about sizes of towns in Germany and the historical background may also be found at Town#Germany. Best wishes, Kleeblatt187 (talk) 21:22, 27 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
Ok, if it has town privileges then it counts. My bad.2A02:120B:2C77:3EE0:4952:139A:7237:66EC (talk) 09:22, 30 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
