Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... I'm currently building a large section of pages and a templated link to this football club is necessary to hold the ladder together. Why I tagged the article for deletion

This club clearly doesn't meet the notability requirements for a football club. I don't think that the authors agenda is enough to keep this article on WP. With a quick look of the authors edits and a quick look on the seasons/club article of Australian football articles there is a ton of clubs that doesn't meet the requirements.

This team has officially taken part in the qualifying games for the 2014 FFA Cup, making it to the 4th Round where they were defeated by Sydney United 58 FC, who themselves qualified for the tournament. If anything, the name of this page is incorrect and should redirect here - Gladesville Hornsby Football Association Spirit FC; but should it be considered not notable? I disagree. There are teams far lower on the national league pyramid with pages of their own that seem to have no problems being found "notable" - Bass Hill RSL SC being a prime example.
