Talk:North–South Trunk Line (RIT)

Introduction

edit

I created this article to make more info about Curitiba's transit system available on the internet. Although it's a BRT system, I applied the train route template, because there's no specific BRT template. I have gathered some information about it to write this article. Having ridden this system thousands of times, I know I'm pretty familiar with it. Felipecbg (talk) 19:31, 30 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

You Can Help, but...

edit

Any help is welcome. But if you are going to help, please:

  • Know what you're saying -- especially if you're not a native speaker of the English language. Always double check for the correct terms, because many times we have words with the same or similar spelling in English and other languages that don't have the same meaning. Also, try not to translate word-by-word, and try to put the words into the context.
  • Remember to post info with links or references that can be checked.
  • I don't have any pictures myself from this Curitiba's transit system. If you do, please feel free to post them here, but keep in mind that they should be alligned to the left and should show varied things (i.e. a transit center, a tube-station and up to two buses -- one biarticulado and one ligeirinho). Don't insert more that four pictures in the article itself with the text. Should there be 5 or more pictures, a "gallery" section would be created, with center allignment.
  • There are two minor flaws on the map. If you know how to fix them, please do it. Otherwise, please don't change the map.

Extending this project

edit

I'll try to apply the same concept used here to the East-West and Southeast trunk lines. Let's make this a project and standardize all of RIT's main lines like in a train system, because they operate as a mixed system, with more convenience and quicker than regular buses -- it's called Bus Rapid Transit.Felipecbg (talk) 19:31, 30 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
