PADZ and other ports of mobile games
editI find it a bit weird that GungHo is mentioned but not PADZ, the 3DS port of the mobile game that also includes a Mario-themed new version. I'm sure there are other Nintendo-developped or Nintendo-published console/handheld ports or adaptations of games that were originally mobile? Might also be worth covering the other way around, Nintendo first-party titles that got a mobile port. Ben · Salvidrim! ✉ 14:44, 6 December 2017 (UTC)
- That definitely falls under "Licensed". (Gungho is mentioned as there was that specific article that called out PAD surpassing Nintendo. (Note that happend in 2013. PADZ was in 2015, after Nintendo learned their lesson). But PADZ does need to be added. --MASEM (t) 16:17, 6 December 2017 (UTC)
Other Nintendo mobile games
edit- Magikarp Jump
- Pokéland
- Pokémon Shuffle Mobile
- Pokémon Duel
- YO-KAI WATCH Wibble Wobble
- Nintendo Switch Parental Controls (I mean.... :p)
- Zelda Mobile (2018)
- Pokémon TCG Online
- Camp Pokémon
- Pokémon TV (more Pokénetflix than game)
- Dance? Pokémon Band!
- Actually a ton more Pokémon mobile games & guidebook apps.....
Pokémon might almost be worth its own section or even its own article goddammit XD Ben · Salvidrim! ✉ 14:56, 6 December 2017 (UTC)
- I know I missed a number of Pokemon games in forming this. As this is meant to be a history with a brief list, I will likely add them but grouped.
- And good catch with the Switch mobile app. I think I saw sources that said they knew most Switch owners would have a mobile device so chose this route over , say, web-based software. --MASEM (t) 15:18, 6 December 2017 (UTC)
- Yea, that and Nintendo Switch Online aren't exactly "games" per se but might still be worth mentioning. The horrible VoIP and the complexity of grouping (as opposed to the ease of PSN/XBLive) is also covered in media. Ben · Salvidrim! ✉ 15:32, 6 December 2017 (UTC)
This page is an advertisement for Nintendo? It serves no actual purpose in its current format. Its existence is a nuisance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.212.74.245 (talk) 06:46, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
- How is this an advertisement? Do you believe that every single company/games/media/celebrity/whatever article is solely there to promote them and their products? ~ Dissident93 (talk) 22:04, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
Remove "Untitled The Legend of Zelda game (TBA)"
editI'm proposing we remove this game from the list and keep it to officially announced/released games. Nintendo has never announced any such Zelda game or said they were looking to make a Zelda mobile game. The only basis for it is an article over two years old that also stated it was going to be released in the later half of 2017. -Vrobowp (talk) 21:35, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
- I agree, we should only have games that are confirmed to be in development here. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 17:50, 22 June 2019 (UTC)
Remove "Pokémon Smile (2020)"
editPokémon Smile isnt a full-fledged game to begin with, it is just an app for children and since Camp Pokémon or Pokémon Playhouse arent in this list, it will for the better to remove Pokémon Smile as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2804:431:E7C2:609F:B569:40DF:ACE2:C141 (talk) 17:22, 24 August 2020 (UTC)
