Mostly blue edit
As far as I am aware the most common colour for this flower in gardens is blue, yet the article gives another impression. A quote from The Flower Expert by Dr. D.G. Hessayon "Love-In-A-Mist aptly describes the misty blue flowers which lie half-hidden within the finely cut foilage. It has been grown in our gardens since Elizabethan times, although nowerdays we can grow multicoloured species as well as the traditional cornflower blue". The article for Nigella is wrong, I think, in saying it is mostly grown for its dried seed-heads - its mostly grown for the blue flowers. It is an easy to grow flower - just sprinkle and rake in. It is a self-seeder so it will come up year after year.
I wish there were lists of self-seeding flowers here, and flowers that only needed scattering and raking to grow - probably closely related. 84.13.206.34 (talk) 20:10, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
