- It's exactly what you think, it's a piece of paper or vinyl with adhesive applied to one side and a design on the other. The rules prevent singles that include promotional items from charting- otherwise you could put out a single with a promotional brick of gold and essentially buy the top spot on the chart. -75.148.93.109 (talk) 19:15, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
