Discrepency

To prevent a future confusion, I'd like to state why Neva Shoals is in the Category:Northwestern Hawaiian Islands but not listed on the page Northwestern Hawaiian Islands and not in Template:NWHawaiianIslands. Neva Shoals is technically a reef directly offshore of Lisianski Island, but not an island or atoll, which is why it is not listed in the template. Later, if we add a section to Northwestern Hawaiian Islands on reefs and banks, we can list it under that (same goes for the template). As to why it is listed under the category: while it is not a Northwestern Hawaiian Island, it is in the chain and needs a specific category to be in without the category being too specific (don't make a category called "Reefs and Banks of the NWHI").

For those who think I am analyzing this way too much, I kind of agree and I don't much like semantics, but that's the reason. If you disagree, please say so. SeanMD80^{talk | contribs} 19:38, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
