Population

edit

The population of Nepali Indian is given as 4,100,000. Someone should check that because the Indian Gorkha (citizens of India with Nepali ethnicity) themselves have a population of 12,500,000 as per Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh [1]. (Saildew (talk) 10:23, 11 March 2011 (UTC))Reply

Indian=Indian Citizen, Nepali= Citizen of Nepal, How a person becomes the citizen of two countries? If a citizen of Nepal resides in India, he/she is not an Indian. Nepali Speaking Indian citizens are known as Gorkha NOT Nepali. I request to delete or merge this article to Indian Gorkha-Bhawani (talk) 09:27, 28 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
