Two Glen Cove Post Offices? edit

The "Glen Cove Post Office" that's listed as the new registry, is actully the headquarters of the Smiros & Smiros architectural firm. Something isn't right here. ----DanTD (talk) 15:31, 26 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hmmm ... I'm not sure what's going on there. Here's the source for the listing as it appears in this table. Perhaps the Smiros & Smiros office is located in a building that was once used as a post office? From what I see in Google Maps, it certainly looks like a building that could be listed on the NRHP. I'll try calling the NY Historic Preservation Office to see if they have an explanation. --sanfranman59 (talk) 22:52, 28 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
User:Daniel Case explained to me that it was the old post office when I sent the message to him, but don't let that dissuade you from contacting the NY Historic Preservation Office. More info is always better. ----DanTD (talk) 05:53, 1 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
