Unfinished edit

Still needs bits ironed out. For history and current command structure, see the official Armada Nacional site. -LlywelynII (talk) 10:58, 3 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

History section ran a bit long. Possibly its own section? More information about historic ships here and here and the current fleet here. Apparently, the new frigates note only ran into one another in South Africa, but the Uruguay was rammed by a fishing boat in port at Montevideo as well. Poor guys. Luckily both are only placeholders while the Navy waits and hopes for more recent German Bremen-class ships. Need more authoritative sources, but they'd prolly be in Spanish. -LlywelynII (talk) 15:49, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Icons & Photographs edit

Each branch has its own coat of arms and the page would look better with these added in as thumbnails (eg, before each item in the list of branches at the top of the page). Similarly, there are pages of photographs for most of the ships that would be improvements over some of the Spanish wiki photos currently used.

However, I don't know what the status is on copyright for images from Uruguayan government sites. Anyone know? -LlywelynII (talk) 09:17, 5 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
