On matric Examination

Asslam o aliakum I am candidate of matric examination. I have a concern that today on 16th May 22 was our chemistry exam. My institute was New Siddeeq Public School (rawalpindi). The time to enter the institute is 1:30 and on exact time i reached but the supredent have misbehaved with me. She first hasn't allowed me to enter the hall. Then she haven't given me objective paper. Then she gave me in last 5 min after that she mentally tourched me continuously. She threntend me. Missing Chairman NAB ?

Hello , in the List of NAB chairmen there seems to be one chairman missing? I think Lt Gen Munir Hafiez was Chairman from 2001 to 2005. Could someone please confirm /check and add to the said list? Thank you 37.111.140.52 (talk) 12:02, 1 October 2022 (UTC)

Cleanup

I’ve made some changes and invite discussion.

1. Government of Pakistan's apex anti-graft investigation agency—‘Pakistan's anti-corruption agency’ is conciser and clearer. (Also, the definite article was omitted.)
2. Its charged with the responsibility of elimination of corruption through a holistic approach of awareness, prevention and enforcement. This is so vague as to nearly be nearly meaningless. And that missing apostrophe…
3. It is an autonomous agency, which has no direct influence of, or controller by the Government of Pakistan. However, for administrative reasons it has been designated as attached department of Ministry of Law and Justice, Govt. of Pakistan. Unsourced. Also, the Pakistani press is full of accusations that the NAB is politicised; at best, we should state that the official position is that the NAB is completely autonomous. As for ‘administrative reasons’, according to whom?
4. In 1997, the Ehtesab Cell was established through enactment of The Ehtesab Act, 1997 charged with responsibility of eradication of corruption and corrupt practices through investigation and prosecution of cases. Eliminating redundancies, we reach ‘[t]he Ehtesab Act, 1997 established the Ehtesab Cell, charged with the investigation and prosecution of corruption.’
5. The section on objectives is pretty much meaningless promotional material.
6. entrusted with imparting training for newly recruited officers, continuing professional developments of officers and other law enforcement agencies in line with the global standards.—more meaningless drivel.
7. The conviction rate of NAB is 75%, which is way higher than Federal Investigation Agency, provincial Anti-Corruption Establishments, Police and other investigative agencies in Pakistan.
8. The section on plea bargains is extremely odd. First, some citations as to complaints about plea bargains would be nice. Second, the ‘misconceptions’ section exclusively comprises citations of Pakistani legislation. This amounts to synthesis at best. It also doesn’t seem responsive to the likely form of the complaint, which presumably is not so much that the law is wrong, so much as that the NAB is abusing it; so even if we were in the business of synthesis, it wouldn’t be very good synthesis. Much better would be to use reliable sources to cover the main points of view. I might return and do that, but I’ve deleted this material for now.
