  1. Is it reasonably well written?
Don't pipe Elektra Records to 'Elektra' in the lead or body, stick with 'Elektra Records'
To the best of my knowledge, the "Records" part is always removed in music articles. Aoba47 (talk) 16:44, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
"her mother Tamara Goodridge, father, and stepfather Mark Goodridge" - this raises questions. What is her father's nam?. In what manner was she raised by her father and her step-father? One would assume not at the same time so what were the circumstances?
According to the Peters source, she was raised by her father and step-father. Here is the source through GoogleBooks: (here). It could be something along the lines of co-custody. Aoba47 (talk) 16:44, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
"According to her official bio" - can you clarify? What is her official bio? Did she write an autobiography?
    • Replaced with "interview" as the main source makes it sound more like an interview. She did not write an autobiography. Aoba47 (talk) 16:44, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
"Rapper Lisa Lopes discovered Reed" - this is vague, can you indicate how she discovered her?
Clarified it somewhat. It is still somewhat vague, as I could not find a source that went further in-depth on the subject. Aoba47 (talk) 16:56, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
"Dotted Line (BMI)" - just confirming, the brackets are to indicate that Dotted Line is owned by BMI?
    That is correct. Aoba47 (talk) 16:56, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
"as of November 3, 2015, the album was certified platinum" - can you find out when it was certified platinum exactly? I would assume it was a long time before 2015.
Thank you for catching it! I have revised it. Aoba47 (talk) 16:56, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
The second instance of "I Do" is wikilinked. You need to wikilink the first instance instead.
"Reed, Williams, and Fears would frequently look into the camera when delivering their lines" - this is a fun fact, I'd expand on it though. How about, "...when delivering lines, due to their lack of acting experience"
    • Thank you for the suggestion! Revised. Aoba47 (talk) 17:08, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
You need to clarify that 'Dragonfly Presents a Better Life Through Chemistry' is a compilation album
"wrote that Reed's raps were "filled with hiccup effects, yeah-yeahs, and nasal phrasing", but criticized her for copying Lopes' style" - I feel like this should read "and criticized her for ..." since both points are negative comments.
"Reed's management denied the arrest reports..." - any follow up on this? A charge of prostitution being reported on by the media which might have actually been false is a pretty huge deal. Did any third parties ever try to verify whether the charge was correct or not?
    • Thank you for bringing this up. I kept meaning to do more research into this. I will look up other third-party sources, and do more research on this subject. Aoba47 (talk) 17:08, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
    • After doing research, the first arrest was reported through an "exclusive" report through the gossip website Bossip. I would normally remove the information from the article if it was only reported through Bossip, but reliable sources picked up the information. When the more reliable sources picked up the information, then Reed's management released the statement. I hopefully clarified this in the article. Aoba47 (talk) 19:43, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Erica Pullins just redirects to 'Blaque', and she surprisingly isn't even mentioned there, so the redirect isn't even helpful.
    • Removed link. The "Blaque" article is not in the greatest condition. Aoba47 (talk) 17:08, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
"The album was abandoned as each group member were at different points in their lives" - is this sourced? Also I feel it could be reworded better. Maybe something like "... on the grounds that the members had different priorities ...". At "different points in their lives" is rather vague and at the very least should be put in direct quotes.
    • Revised, and it is sourced from the reference in the next sentence. Aoba47 (talk) 17:08, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Can you find out exactly when Reed and Kurupt separated?
    • I will do more research on it, and let you know by tomorrow if that is okay with you. Aoba47 (talk)
    • I could not find an exact year in which they separated. All I could find was that they separated after Reed's pregnancy. I have added the information to the article with a source. The only source that I could a year for the break-up was The Daily Mail, which cannot be used in Wikipedia (according to The Daily Mail, they broke up in 2002). Aoba47 (talk) 19:40, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
'Kurupt's former fiancée, dissed Reed on her track "730"' - what year was this track released?
'and "So what I'm not with him / Bitch he's off limits" and "garbage."' - what's the significance of the term 'garbage'?
    • It is a lyric from the song, but it is not important enough to mention in this article so I have removed. Aoba47 (talk) 17:08, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
"Reed's father said that he planned to create a foundation to help Tren." - this is rather vague. I read the source and I understand it doesn't give much else, but 'foundation' is a particularly odd term. What does that even mean in this context? Is 'foundation' a common term for something like a trust-find in the US?
    • To the best of my knowledge the terms "foundation" and "trust-fund" mean two separate things. Thank you for calling it to my attention as it is very vague and confusing. I replaced it with "raise money". Let me know if you think that this should be removed altogether due to the lack of clarity from the source. Aoba47 (talk) 17:08, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
"For "808", the trio was nominated" - perhaps clarify that 808 is a song. Assuming that it is one.
"808" is a song, and it was introduced in the "1997-1999: Blaque" section. Aoba47 (talk) 17:08, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. Has an appropriate reference section:
    B. Citation to reliable sources where necessary:
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
    B. Focused:
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are tagged with their copyright status, and valid fair use rationales are provided for non-free content:
Are you sure you can justify the image of Lisa Lopes? The fair use rational at the image states that it would only be used in the article on Lopes. As there's three free images of people Reed was affiliated with I think it would be hard to justify having a non-free one.
I have removed the Lisa Lopes image. For some reason, I thought it was a fair use image when I had added it to the article. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, as I had intended to remove it, but I kept forgetting about it. Thank you for picking this up for a review, and I hope that you are doing well! Aoba47 (talk) 23:33, 26 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
    B. Images are provided if possible and are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
Pass or Fail: Looks pretty good overall. Placing on hold until issues are addressed. Freikorp (talk) 10:44, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
    • @Freikorp: Thank you for the review so far! I have to do further research on two points that you have raised above, and I will try to get more answers by the end of tomorrow. I apologize for the delay, and I hope that you are having a great day/night! Aoba47 (talk) 17:09, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
    • @Freikorp: I believe that I have addressed everything. Thank you again for the review! Aoba47 (talk) 19:43, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
    • Looks great, happy to pass now, congrats. Freikorp (talk) 23:08, 27 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
