Assessment edit

Background edit

  • Link Commonwealth.

Results edit

  • ...became Namibia first female medalist at the World Athletics Championships. - ‘Namibia’s' and no full stop at he end.
  • ...what a report in the Namibian Sun - amend to ‘...what the Namibian Sun…’?
  • When I've done that before, I've been asked to change it "because a newspaper isn't a person, and can't have an opinion". Hence this awful construction when there wasn't an author. That said, this isn't going anywhere near FA, so I'm more than happy to change it. Harrias talk 07:59, 7 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Who is Mike Rowbottom?
  • ... her Commonwealth Games victory had come in high temperatures. - I would specify here that she won the race the previous year, and that the race was held in the Gold Coast at a temperature of 27 degrees.
  • Added the temperature, but not the location. Harrias talk 07:59, 7 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Ref 12 (The Namibian) notes the heat and humidity (32 degrees, 80%). Worth including?
  • Added, but from another source that I am more confident about their accuracy on this. Harrias talk 07:59, 7 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • ... in 17th. - imo ‘... in 17th place.’ sounds better.
  • ...Championships' medal table… - misplaced apostrophe?
