Article really needs a figure of the Bayesian network edit
Naive Bayes has a very well-known Bayesian network representation (one node up top for the class, pointing to many independent nodes at the bottom for the features), and yet it's not in this article. A shame for sure! I don't have the time to source a vector image of the Bayesian network right now, though, but somebody else could. --MewTheEditor (talk) 14:12, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
Articulation of Naive Bayes edit
"In the statistics literature, naive Bayes models are known under a variety of names, including simple Bayes and independence Bayes.[5] All these names reference the use of Bayes' theorem in the classifier's decision rule, but naive Bayes is not (necessarily) a Bayesian method.". This is about as unhelpful to the reader as a paragraph can be. Either list all the known names it is know by or do not mention it as it does not inform the reader. Similarly, do not say what something is not, that adds nothing and is again painfully unhelpful. Make reference to what the 'Bayes' is referring to and then elaborate. Either way this whole paragraph needs re-writing from the bottom up. PaddyBasher (talk) 19:02, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
