editI'm pretty sure this is the wrong map for this article. It seems to be of the taluks of Mysore district, not of a group of districts in a Mysore division of Karnataka.
I agree this is not mysore division map. --Kurumban (talk) 00:06, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
Doesn't have reliable tertiary sources
editThis article does not contain any tertiary reliable sources. More reliable 3rd-party citations such as newspapers, etc. are needed (WP:Suggested sources). Else, this article is purely biased and a one-sided POV. Aviator423 (talk) 13:25, 3 May 2020 (UTC)
This article does not adhere to WP:Notability
editThis article doesn't adhere to WP:Notability. Most people in Mangalore and Udupi are not even aware of Mysore Division and its existence. This article however claims that Mangalore and Udupi come under Mysore Division. And remember, Mangalore is much more developed in terms of Economy, Infrastructure and HDI, compared to Mysore. What you are speaking is your opinion, it is one of the government's administration unit and hence it is notable.Unless you advocate that every article on administrative division should be deleted, your argument holds no significance. As a matter of fact, Mangaluru and Udupi does come under Mysuru division and you can see that in multiple government websites.

It doesn't matter which city is much developed, development is subjective. While HDI of Mysuru district is low, the city itself ranks 2nd https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/mysuru/Human-development-index-Mysuru-stands-12th-in-state/articleshow/49604962.cms.
According to government sources, Mysuru had an infrastructure index of 2.846 but Mangalore was 1.085.

It isn't proven nor does it matter than most people in Mangaluru and Udupi don't know if Mysore Division exists, it is one of the government division. Better educate yourself rather than unnecessarily tagging an article. It helps us editors to do better. Also keep neutrality in mind while editing.PareeKatti24 (talk) 05:24, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
