Suggestion: a section detailing how much money goes to the various states would be helpful. --Guy Macon (talk) 03:50, 11 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Mississippi

edit

Why isn’t Mississippi in the nationwide lottery registry? On the internet, it clearly shows Mississippi isn’t approved for the powerball and mega millions lottery but yet, we can purchase them. What does this mean? Are we purchasing tickets and giving our money away with ZERO chance of ever winning? Who gets the revenue?? 173.235.9.158 (talk) 15:26, 30 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Relax. The Mississippi State Lottery exists and is a member of Powerball and Mega Millions. All sites saying that Mississippi doesn't have a lottery are outdated. oknazevad (talk) 15:54, 30 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

But a full member per the MUSL website. They sell Powerball tickets per the terms of the original cross-selling agreement still, and haven't fully joined. oknazevad (talk) 15:39, 8 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Why is it you never hear of anyone in the south east winning the PowerBall or mega millions its always in California or Arizona and they already have a lot of money why is that
