Attraction infobox

edit

I added an attraction infobox. Picture of the facade should be moved and an image of the ride logo should go into the infobox instead. Disneyfile 20:14, 12 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Magic Kingdom Summary

edit

The Magic Kingdom ride summary is incredibly poor - there is no distinction between the ride itself and the opinions over why it is closed. There is a lot of POV. There is also no verified claims or citations supporting it. Considering the history of the ride and the controversy over its closure, I think it's important that the section be overhauled.Rebochan 03:01, 24 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

I agree. There needs more info on the WDW ride itself (esp as the info on the Californian ride is almost a scene-by-scene breakdown). What would be really useful is if there was such a breakdown for each of the two tracks on WDW--TimothyJacobson (talk) 13:27, 12 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Changes

edit

Based on a recent ride through Winnie the Pooh, I get the distinct feeling that the ride path is more or less the same as that of MTWR; that is, only the ridecars and surrounding props have changed, along with the overall speed of the ride. I haven't seen anything (so far) that would support this, though. Does anyone know anything about this? Claude (talk) 18:50, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I completely disagree, esp as Winnie The Pooh only has one ride track whereas Mr T had two--TimothyJacobson (talk) 16:16, 26 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
One change which has occurred to the ride is when the train encounter occurs. In the past (at least as recently as 2012) it was a head-on collision with the front of the oncoming train, but a change was made recently, causing the train to appear to pass over the riders, rather than colliding with them. When I noticed the change, I asked a Disneyland cast member about it, and he confirmed it, but I can't find any reference to this change on the Internet. Perhaps someone who knows more about it can update the article with a mention and description of the change.Tvindy (talk) 01:38, 19 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Best ride ever

edit
Yeah, and what about how the ride ends with the riders dying and going to Hell? This was the best ride ever, it deserves a much more thorough article.;)--Cúchullain t/c 05:31, 27 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
You said it man, best ride ever. Let's have a moment of silence for its passing. Or at least a blank line.

Closed when it's not

edit

Is everyone absolutely sure MTWR is closed? Because when I went to Disneyland California in '05, I rode it. So at the very least, it was operational then. --Anoma lee 08:12, 31 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

To reiterate what it says in the article. The one in Florida is closed; the one in California is not. There has never been one in the Paris park, which I know for a fact, and I can only assume there has never been one in Hong Kong or Tokyo--TimothyJacobson (talk) 13:27, 12 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
My mistake, there was one in Tokyo, again replaced by Pooh--TimothyJacobson (talk) 09:40, 24 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Ride track numbers

edit

In the article it refers to Ride Track One and Ride Track Two. Is this the terminology used by the cast members to distinguish between them? Is there another way of defining them such as left track and right track?--TimothyJacobson (talk) 16:16, 26 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
