iPod Shuffle
editI believe this DSP is used in the iPod Shuffle. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.92.44.209 (talk • contribs)
- Yep, it is embedded in the STMP3xxx system-on-a-chip series. -- intgr #%@! 22:25, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
ADSL filters
editAny reference for that ADSL 20-bit filter topic ?— Preceding unsigned comment added by 196.202.2.206 (talk • contribs) 2007 (UTC)
- 20-bit filter arithmetic is quite plausible for ADSL. This is based on the typical width of the input from the ADC[1] and the well-known fact that many filter algorithms need an accuracy larger than the data by a few bits. I'll remove the citation-needed tag. --Rainald62 (talk) 16:48, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
Silly
editSorry, but the "by whom" flagging of "The leftmost four bits are considered [by whom?] ample headroom for calculations" is as silly as flagging "the majority of human beings are right-handed." Anyone reading this article - even a nearly complete N00B to analog and digital processes - should know this. [Says Me] 2600:1700:8569:6410:88A5:35F4:A7D3:8B1D (talk) 18:17, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
