Objection to Proposed Deletion
editHey all, I just wanted to provide the following rationale in regards to my removal of the Proposed Deletion tag.
Firstly I note that the reasoning for proposed deletion is; "I found no sources or anything related to this subject and I think it is a hoax. Even if it isn´t, the team only played for one year."
I've added some references to the page to clear up a few things. From these references you'll see that the team did in fact exist and I've provided links to scanned newspaper articles of the error reporting on the team. I think we can safely say that this is not a hoax.
In relation to the "Even if it isn´t, the team only played for one year." component, I note from my brief reading tat during this period of history for Canadian football, it was very common for teams to frequently change names from year to year. There are a number of pages across wikipedia detailing the history of Canadian football teams that only played for one or two seasons before changing names.
