NEW INFO
editThere is another building made for the school to add room for more students. If you guys wish to add this then do so, just adding some information. I don't have a proper reference so I didn't add it to the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.34.130.109 (talk) 01:50, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
Riot
editThere appears to be some disagreement about whether there was a riot at this school a few days ago. This is the place for discussion, not in the article. The discussion so far:
"On April 25, 2008 during a pep rally in the school's gymnasium, numerous students were involved in a riot which required heavy police response. Many students were arrested, many suspended and at least one was expelled for their conduct.
The previous statement is factually inaccurate. No violence occurred at Monarch High School on April 25, 2008, no student arrests resulted from the pep rally, and no expulsions occurred. An edit of this statement was attempted, however a volunteer wikipedia editor did not allow any correction to be made. It is a shame that wikipedia purports to be a resource for information but has low standards for factual accuracy." Beeblbrox (talk) 03:29, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- After a quick Google on the subject, I didn't come up with any sources as required by Wikipedia policy for reliable sources. That is what is needed if this information is to be included in this article as it clearly controversial. Beeblbrox (talk) 03:42, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- It just got added and removed again sigh... Beeblbrox (talk) 04:12, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
