Talk:Mobile intensive care ambulance

More than AUS

A problem that needs to be resolved with this article as it appears that it is only talking about MICAs in reference to Australia. This needs to be broadened to the whole world, generalising what an MICA does.

I know that in Israel (where I will soon be volunteering as a CFR). MDA the National ambulance service calls them MICUs (Mobile Intensive Care Units) and as is written on the MDA wiki page "MICUs similar to the US Type II units and manned by paramedics and physicians respond only to the most medically serious cases. They are called Natan (if a physician is on board) or Atan (if it is only staffed by paramedics and EMTs)".

To reiterate: this article needs to be generalised to more than a specific type of ambulance in use in Australia. HostDavid (talk) 13:24, 21 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
