• 2001 First Runner-Up Teresa Tsuei 崔澤韻 gave birth to a baby in August of 2002, just 8 months after her appearance on MCV.
• 2001 Finalist Maggie Wang 王亞文 not only bears the same Chinese name as NTSA Vancouver 1999 winner Chantal Wang, she was also a finalist in the NTSA Victoria Audition 2001.
• Three 2001 Finalists, Grace Yu 于珮晶, Milly Gee 朱超群, and Jane Huang 黃利建 competed together in the HMY Model Search 2002. Grace won, Jane garnered second runner-up, and Milly was unplaced.
• 2005 Winner Crystal Li 李培禎 is the first ( and so far, only ) MCV winner to not garner any other awards in the pageant, including the Miss Photogenic title, which was won by every other MCV winner.
