Yoji edit

I have removed the apprentice part on the sentence about Yoji since he has taken paying customers and therefore can't really be considered an apprentice anymore. Pegasus1138Talk | Contribs | Email ---- 01:53, 9 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

On the other hand, the VO at the opening credits still has Ami referring to him as "my loyal apprentice". PxT 19:31, 15 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

I assume they'll wait awhile to change it probably until next season. Pegasus1138Talk | Contribs | Email ---- 23:40, 3 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Internal Links edit

I converted the names of Miami Ink employees from bold to Internal Links- easy but necessary. Didgepenguin

Criticisms edit

I've heard alot of criticism when it comes to this show, is it worth including it? Frek

Celebrity Customers edit

I removed (for the second time) a poorly-spelled addition to the Celebrity section referring to "Keehan Jennings" an "internationally acclaimed porn star". There's no wiki page available for this person. The only relevant result on google for this name is a myspace page which appears to belong to someone in AU. The IP that is posting these changes is also in AU. Reverted as vandalism unless there's a legitimate source for this info.

Kat's departure edit

Is there a way someone could elaborate on this slightly? The way it is worded now makes it seem like it was staged in order to justify the creation of a spin-off... which I can only assume isn't the case. More information, even slight, would be welcomed there. --75.2.32.250 14:09, 20 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

The trick is, it may very well have been staged, we really don't have any way of knowing short of a statement of such from someone involved with the show. In an effort to remain neutral, the article should only state that she left and the reasons given in the show. -- Jelly Soup 22:44, 14 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
While it's possible that it was staged, I'd have a hard time believing that. Unless they were obligated to help because of their contract, they have nothing to gain from TLC creating a new show; it probably will be the end of the Miami Ink show (so long as LA Ink doesn't bomb). Tattooing is a niche audience to begin with, and add in the fact that many people into tattoos don't even like the show(s), and there's just not enough audience to go around. -- —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.77.70.107 (talkcontribs) 16:00, August 14, 2007.
I agree that it more than likely wasn't staged. The only real benefit would be for TLC, who might get another hit show (or, rather, more money). However, I disagree about tattooing being a niche. Tattoos have become more and more popular in the last ten years, and the introduction of tattooing based programs help introduce people to the concept, not withholding that Miami Ink is one of TLCs top shows. Regardless, we need to remain neutral as far as the articles content. So far, the show is the only source and the source says that Kat left due to issues with Ami. -- Jelly Soup 06:07, 15 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
The article right now says that Miami Ink started in July 2007, and that, after 2 seasons and part of a season, Kat left to start LA Ink in August 2007, which makes no sense. According to IMDB, Miami Ink started in July 2005, not 2007. This should be corrected.Nrgins (talk) 21:25, 26 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Getting a Tattoo edit

I'm a little confused with the specifics of getting a tattoo from the artists. The source cited for the statement saying that the artists only tattoo during the taping of the show doesn't say that anywhere. There is an application to be tattooed on the show, but it doesn't say anywhere that that's the only way to be tattooed by them. Could someone clear this up?Dabarnes 19:20, 14 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

I can't seem to find it, but there was a section of the site devoted to this subject. You had to sign up and pay a small fee to be tattooed by the main artists. -- Jelly Soup 06:13, 15 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Numbers edit

According to IMDB, there are 90 episodes and 4 seasons. These numbers seem a little fuzzy to me. I can't seem to find any other sources of information on this. Ideas?

Also, a note should be placed in the article about the season one dvd being released in October. -- Jelly Soup 08:14, 31 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

I am confused, did they pause the new season midway to make room for L.A. Ink, or when exactly does the new season continue? Does anyone know when to expect new episodes? I realize this might not be the right place to ask, but I'd be interested in knowing. --MCW07 00:12, 5 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
The new season starts Nov. 6th. -- Jelly Soup 21:34, 5 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

4th and final season? edit

It says on the page: "..and is currently broadcasting its fourth and final season". That's not correct, right? Isn't it on it's 6th season now? --Loxus (talk) 15:14, 14 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Original Research/International Screenings sections edit

I flagged the International Screenings section as Original Research. The section is a trainwrek: no citations, unencyclopedic tone, off-heading content, ungrounded time specifiers, etc, etc. Flagged where it needed some love. Ogre lawless (talk) 07:21, 20 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
