Ok, why make a disambiguation page? Well I was linking merchant seaman in a WWII story and hoped to go straight to the Merchant Navy. Instead I was redirected to Merchant Marine. I' d never heard that term before so I thought a disambiguation page would at least let folks know there are two terms for this kind of shipping.
