This page could possibly use a reciprocating "see also" to/from Mercier. I would add it myself, but I'm not sure exactly where, without creating unnecessary clutter or confusion. Perhaps one of you dab experts could pay this some attention. -- WikHead (talk) 01:11, 16 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

"Primary" definition edit

A mercer is originally a person in the mercery trade. All the other definitions come from that, typically as family names. There should be some way of explaining that in the dab page, even if other meanings are more common nowadays. I'm not sure the way I did it is ideal, but ignoring the connection completely also seems wrong. --Macrakis (talk) 16:48, 25 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
