Although most sources for this television drama are not in English, that does not mean the show lacked notability (it was broadcast in roughly 70 countries, including Israel and the UK) nor that those sources are themselves suspect. The sources are verifiable even if they are written in Urdu (which many were). Turkish dramas, since about 2008, have been an international phenomenon that have built cultural bridges over religious and political divides.
