would be nice to have a table with the diff configurations of current popular usage, eg, if you're running with 192 GB you'd typically buy quad rank. (totally made that up btw)
Older terminology
editI think this hould be in the article: until about 10 years ago, that what is now called a rank was also called a bank, but then the term rank was invented to distinguish it from what is still known as a bank. --MrBurns (talk) 15:47, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
