Talk:Mega-brothel

why a separate article?

edit

Orangepeel, can you expand on your reasons for wanting to keep this as a separate article? The term gets something under 170k Google hits (half of those related to the Nevada venture, and may be linkspamming), compared with nearly 4 million Google hits for brothel. I don't see a lot of support for this, other than you, but maybe you can outline your viewpoint further on the talk page. -- nae'blis 22:07, 1 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

And it is still included in the brothel article. I hope you're not calling my redirection vandalism in your edit summary; there's been very little opposition here or on the main article's talk page to merging the two. There was great duplication of text, and now it's all in one place, with a prominent section header for mega-brothels. No one is trying to mislead, only consolidate under a logical heading. This article was not so large as to bear splitting out from the main brothel article, in my opinion. However I am happy to take the matter to Wikipedia:Requested moves or Wikipedia:Requests for comment for a broader audience, as it got relatively little attention back in June and July. -- nae'blis 16:19, 27 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
