The originator of the article used a hybrid English, with "jewelry" but "colour" and "mould" etc. The content mostly needs rewriting or expanding, & I am doing so using consistent British English - while some medieval jewellery comes from British English-speaking areas, none comes from the Americas. Unless anyone objects I will eventually move the title to Medieval jewellery. Johnbod (talk) 20:40, 30 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
Is that how they do it? Apparently not. I thought it was just a non-native speaker. The text is crap anyway, & will (or should) eventually all go, except maybe the technical stuff. Johnbod (talk) 04:46, 1 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
Could be. I'm Canadian and would never spell it "jewelry", because I don't pronounce it that way. But I can definitely see many Canadians spelling it that way because they see it that way often enough. I wouldn't find "jewelry" next to "colour" at all jarring. I do not object to the article being re-titled. Srnec (talk) 22:47, 11 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
Ok thanks - at the moment it serves as a useful reminder of which bit are original. I'm still working on it, but slowly just now. Johnbod (talk) 11:10, 12 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
