Page name edit

There was a page called Media Center (note capitalization) that was on a specific product. This difference in capitalization being the only difference between the two pages was confusing. Accordingly I moved Media Center to Media Center (software application) and changed the resulting redirect to point here instead. All references to the old Media Center were cleaned up and pointed at the Media Center (software application) page.

Proposed merge with Media Server edit

There is a page called Media Server, really I am of the opinion that Media Servers (in the sense of that article) are more commonly called Media Center and so the content should really come over here. -- cmh 21:36, 10 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

What about media hubs? Where do they fit in? --Zach 18:00, 22 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sounds good to me --Zr2d2 00:01, 11 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

The Media Server article is pretty confused, but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with Media Centers as talked about in this article. As it's been several months since the merge was proposed and there doesn't seem to be any progress towards that front (and it also doesn't make sense), I'm removing the merge tags. —Cleared as filed. 13:27, 5 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn't this be merged under Home Theater PC? A Media Center = Home Theater PC, does it not? Samix 14:51, 14 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Agree: needs merged and cleaned up (both pages need work as it stands now) and the home theater article is already marked as expert needed in fact. --Kuzetsa (talk) 04:55, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:MoxiBox.jpg edit

The image Image:MoxiBox.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Proposed merge with Home theater PC edit

    Y Merger complete.

This article is basically a stub that repeats a lot of info that's part of the HTPC article. As a step to reduce the confusing list of articles, I'm proposing this merge, making the HTPC article the main one.Mattnad (talk) 18:30, 10 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
