Fanboyish? edit

Well written, but a little too "fan boy" to be encyclopedic. Steve-O 13:08, 6 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

The article seems fine to me for a piece about a non-controversial television series. While not overly critical of the series, it does not seem to be drooling over the show either. Examples with the above criticism would help.

What'ws a "kercheif tie"? I think you mean "bolo tie". -- Charlie (Colorado) 06:29, 22 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

This reads as very fanboyish and not at all what I would expect from a wiki entry. McCloud's 'protective charm' vis a vis the ladies? Methinks the writer of the article fell for the actor's charm. Seriously, it's written as a puff piece and the language is overly flowery throughout. Not a user, but it struck me as so intrusive that reading the entry had me rolling my eyes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.231.14.3 (talk) 04:03, 26 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Wow, a thread with entries spanning over 5 1/2 years! You know, if you see something that could be written better, you could give it a try. That's what "anyone can edit" is about. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 04:12, 26 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:McCloud.jpg edit

Image:McCloud.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
