Taipei Taiwan, or Taipei China
editTaipei is in Taiwan. No one disputes that. There is a dispute as to whether Taipei is in China. Prefer "Taipei, Taiwan" over "Taipei, China" as the former sufficiently distinguishes the city from any other "Taipei"s that may exist without violating NPOV by pushing the POV that Taipei is part of China. Mbabane/Mbabana
editI've seen a few sources that say Mbabana, but I don't think that's a standard spelling. However, I get lots of results by running a search on Google for "Mbabana" - can anyone shed some light here? Elfred (talk) 05:16, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

- Maybe I could make a tradition out of this. At least until I get an answer. Elfred (talk) 20:02, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- Oops! I guess I forgot about this for a while. SOMEBODY ANSWER MY QUESTION. Elfred (talk) 08:01, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

Answer: "Mbabane" is the right/official name. Mbabana is a Swazi surname, but it is often misused as the name of the capital by foreigners —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.166.9.88 (talk) 12:26, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
How is it pronounced?
editHow is it pronounced? Could someone who knows add this to the article? I suggest using IPA and a voice recording. SlowJog (talk) 01:43, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
- I've added the IPA. According to the Dictionary.com page, it's pronounced /bɑˈbɑn/ with an optional /əm/ at the beginning and an optional /i/ at the end. Lunaibis 16:04, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
Pictures?
editThe current picture labeled "view of Mbabane" does not well represent it. That picture makes it look like a small town. It is not realistic to think that a city of 95,000 has only a few buildings. One more like http://www.verte.us/swaziland/mbabane_swaziland.jpg or http://csmdnations.org/images/mbabane.gif would be better. SlowJog (talk) 17:14, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
