I am not sure that Maurice's inheritance of $68 million is mentioned in the series. If I missed it, I'd like info about it - which episode? season? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 161.53.216.68 (talk)

Uhh, i clarified facts and details. Why was it reverted? TKE

I rewrote the article after the reversion. It is accurate to the series, and a good synopsis of Maurice. Please leave a note if you change it as to why. TKE

Trivia

edit

This comes close to just being pure speculation. It's possible The Joker's mention of a "space cowboy" could have started the notion of this character, but so could any number of things. We really have no way of knowing. The song mostly is describing someone nothing like this character, namely a musician who clearly smokes both tobacco and marijuana. I'm not sure "the Steve Miller band" is even referenced in Northern Exposure and I don't see it on their soundtracks.--T. Anthony 09:59, 9 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Agreed, it's awfully thin; even if true, so what? I've removed it. —Tamfang 19:23, 18 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Barbara

edit

Proposed addition:

Barbara breaks up with Maurice on two occasions: first when she hears a telephone message from his accountant suggesting a tax avoidance scheme, and finally when Maurice chooses to protect Cal, in the knowledge that this will cost him Barbara.

What do you say, is something like this worth (improving and) including? —Tamfang (talk) 07:15, 16 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
