Maniac (1980) film
editThe song was originally written for the Joe Spinell film Maniac (1980) I believe the original chorus was written as "There's a maniac on the loose". it was not used in the film and eventually used in Flashdance with some lyrical changes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.103.144.2 (talk) 19:25, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
Slower, orchestral version
