Greek or Albanian?

edit
In 1908, Greek sources list the population as 3,500 "Albanian-speaking Greeks, most of whom also speak Greek".[3]

Possibly it should be noted that in 1908 the Greek government wanted to annex all of Albania, and therefore the official policy was that there are no Albanians, only Greeks who spoke Albanian. The above statement is therefore more a reflection of Greek politics at the time, rather than any accurate assessment of culture. By the same token, putting this article under wikiproject:Greece is also dubious. Sad mouse 17:48, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yep, it's quite notable, but remember this is an article about a village, not about Greek policy towards ethnicities. After all, we're just quoting a document, and we can't afford to change its wording. These Albanians were for the most part Greek-identifying, so the article has some relation to Greece too, enough to be tagged by the Greek WikiProject, I guess :) Regards, TodorBozhinov 19:24, 14 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Can it be found somewhere? The link no longer works and when I look it up the only results that turn up are basically c&p of the Mandritsa article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fnugh (talkcontribs) 19:11, 23 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
