carla?
editperhaps the name of the italian (or is she italian?) actress carla mancini should be included in the "mancini" article. she was omnipresent in european films (mostly made in italy) during the seventies. she acted in 225 film and television projects between 1968 and 2010. 220 of those projects were released during the seventies. so she may be the most prolific (non porno) film performer of the seventies. and at least several of her films received a modicum of international recognition. "bird with the crystal plumage" is a cult film featuring tony musante. "scent of a woman" is a well known art film starring vittorio gassman. and, of course, "my name is nobody" is a famous spaghetti western with terence hill and henry fonda. carla mancini may be "obscure," but she is less obscure than a lot of other people who are included in wikipedia. al mancini, who is mentioned on the "mancini" disambiguation page, only acted in 65 film and television projects. as indicated earlier, there is some ambiguity as to carla mancini's nationality. she probably is italian, yet there is something "american sounding" about her name. "carla mancini" is surely a somewhat common name in italy, but it wouldn't be out of place to find someone of the name in america. "carla" is a common american name as well as an italian name, and there are many italian-americans in the united states with the last name "mancini." most of carla mancini's films were italian, so in all likelihood she was an italian native. however, there were more than a handful of american performers working in italian films during the sixties and seventies, so she may have emigrated from the united states or (less likely) from great britain. perhaps someone could do some research about this and add her to the "mancini" article. she isn't as well know as somebody like HENRY mancini, but she did have a bit of an impact on international cinema. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.127.228.117 (talk) 01:53, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
