No, it is a real government agency. Mr Accountable (talk) 09:51, 18 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

New draft for this article

edit

In my continued efforts to improve articles related to Palm oil on Wikipedia I have prepared a new draft for this article. The current version is very short, provides very little information about what the organization actually does and only contains two references, both of which direct to the Malaysian Palm Oil Board's websites.

The draft I have prepared provides more information about the origins of the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) and their activities. I have also added an infobox and sections to this draft. The infobox does not include the logo, because fair use does not allow for this to appear in user space, I believe, but this should be added in the actual article. Where possible I have located independent sources to support the information I have added, though if I was unable to find an independent source I have used primary sources to support statements of fact.

This draft, like the requests I've posted on other palm oil-related articles was prepared on behalf of the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC). To be clear, the MPOB is a government agency in Malaysia, whereas the MPOC is a separate industry organization.

I have put my proposed draft in my user space here:MPOB draft I am hoping that an editor can review it and replace the current version if it looks ok. I'm available to answer any questions about my draft. Thanks in advance. YellowOwl (talk) 22:50, 18 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

I looked it over and it is a real improvement, so I replaced the old version. Good work! --Guy Macon (talk) 23:48, 21 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your review and help making this edit, Guy. YellowOwl (talk) 00:33, 22 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
I second Guy Macon's statement, the new version makes the article better. Commendations to YellowOwl for the procedure used here. CMD (talk) 00:54, 22 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
