Contested deletion edit

This page should not be speedy deleted because... --DutchD (talk) 19:48, 4 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

The introduction of new technologies into our country/culture is much more complicated than many realize. This particular article, which will surely grow over time, is beginning to demonstrate how the bureaucratic structures of our country tend to slow the introduction of new technologies and the work that must be done to overcome bureaucratic inertia.

In this piece direct bureaucratic intervention is discussed with results and documents to help others with similar issues. Further, the debates fomented in academic and quasi-academic circles by shifts toward renewable resources also require the attention of those who introduce change.

This page could get a different title, if a company name title is the issue, but the processes involved in helping any nations move themselves in more sustainable directions are articulated here for the space heating realm common to northern tier regions.

Significant Work edit

This page demonstrates clearly shows with references the significance of this organization. One of the owners has a wiki page of their own, and the work that has been done with this company is surely significant. The title could be changed if that is the offensive aspect, the information contained is interesting important and worthy of publishing in this forum. I would respectfully hope to receive an explanation of why this page does not adequately explain the significance of the organization if the "speedy deletion" is followed through with, thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nineteen85EAGLE (talkcontribs)

You need references that are about the company, that were written independently of the company and the people that work there. What we've got now is a few references that don't mention Maine Energy Systems at all, and several more that were written by Maine Energy Systems themselves. - MrOllie (talk) 20:12, 4 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Mr. Ollie for the response, you seem to raise a fair point, I know that a number of magazines and newspapers have written articles on MESys including, Canadian Forest Industries, Biomass Power and Thermal, and the Portland Press Herald. There are surely more that I don't know of as well, I will add what I have and look for more, Sometime was spent gathering all the information you see now, it is hard to imagine that that work has been done without merit.Nineteen85EAGLE (talk) 20:25, 4 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

edit suggestions edit

still not NPOV; promotional statements that are not backed up by references. For example, here is my suggested edit of the lead section:

Maine Energy Systems Maine Energy Systems (MESys) was founded in the summer of 2008. The company delivers wood pellets in bulk and sells fully automated wood pellet boilers for hydronic heating.[1] MESys is involved in academic studies, works with political groups concerned with the environmental and economic aspects of residential and light commercial heating, and works with American regulatory bodies concerned with the safety of heating appliances.

reduce capitalisation of section titles, please see WP:TITLEFORMAT "Use lower case, except for proper names: The initial letter of a title is almost always capitalized; subsequent words in a title are not, unless they are part of a proper name, and so would be capitalized in running text" formatting of reference would be good, i use Wikipedia:Citation templates, there are also some good auto tools e.g. [1].
