- I may simply make changes as I see fit to the wording of the article (Wikipedia:Be bold), and I consider them to be my suggestions, which you're welcome to again alter. We can then perhaps bring them here to discuss if we disagree. - The ultimate goal of this article is to develop it to be as encyclopedic as possible, so all wording/clarity edits are welcome. I think the current text is too detailed, trying to capture every nuance of the organisation, and all too often in a style that is bordering impenetrable, the kind of style such an organisation would write about itself in. Instead it should be a very simplified synopsis of the organisation's activities. -Lopifalko (talk) 21:46, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
- Well, let's then get inside the texts and look at what kind of wording/arrangements can be made. It's a working progress and the entry is in a completely different stage than were it was before. What can be the next stage now is just focus on the wording and clarity of each part without letting out the key facts.

What does the latter part of this sentence mean please?: "Magnum Foundation leads the process of identifying collections and estate holdings of work by Magnum photographers and to connect these materials through an online consortium." - connect them with where? What online consortium? Do these details matter to a common reader? The text to me feels encumbered by prosaic words, I find it hard to decipher. -Lopifalko (talk) 16:06, 11 May 2017 (UTC)
- The consortium is the group of Magnum Photographer's estates, college libraries, museums and organizations that are rounding up and classifying prints and work done by Magnum Photographers. The consortium is the research core for the archival project Magnum Foundation, Magnum Photos and the members of Magnum Photos have to preserve their work. For example, MagnumPro, the prints' archive from Magnum Photos, would be sort of parent and partner organization to the consortium. So what the consortium does is to rally up people and organizations to help digitalize, preserve, catalogue, and share between each other prints, negatives, files and documents. I've used the consortium a couple of times for my thesis, and it's a good resource. It's like a photography based search-engine/library that merges several collections together.
- So, after going probably too long with this explanation, I want to keep that bit of information. There has to be a way both of us haven't thought on how it can be written that is not too prosaic (kind of paraphrasing you) and that it shows the usefulness of the resource.
