Focused on quantum physics

edit

This is a list of applications of machine learning to quantum physics, not to physics in general. It should be called "Machine learning in quantum physics" or enriched with other content. ML is widely used in data analysis, and I'm quite sure there will be plenty of examples of ML used in experimental physics. Neural networks were used to approximate parton distribution functions already 15 years ago. Today the idea of using ML for analysing the output of LHC sensors and the like is being considered, etc. --MartinoK (talk) 16:10, 2 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

I agree, though I lean towards enriching with other content. Unfortunately, I don't really have the expertise to fill in the sections that need to be added, though. Fawly (talk) 17:24, 2 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
@MartinoK and Fawly: I added a section describing applications of machine learning in computational fluid dynamics. Jarble (talk) 07:18, 21 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
