@Rebeccairv: Do you have any information on what happened with the political party they were trying to register? "Qa'imat" is not an accurate translation of "movement". If its already a political party then the article should be named "Ma'an (party)", but in the meantime it should be named "Ma'an list". Makeandtoss (talk) 11:56, 21 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Also I will be trimming down the "stances" so that it does not appear promotional. PS: don't worry, I voted for them ;) Makeandtoss (talk) 12:06, 21 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Rebeccairv: Apologies then. I will refrain from editing now, I am available for advice or help.. Makeandtoss (talk) 12:08, 21 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Makeandtoss: Thank you! We haven't actually finished the page so will be expanding it more in the next couple of weeks.rebeccairv (talk) 14.15, 21 February 2017 (UTC)

@Makeandtoss: Hey! I saw you added the tag at the top of the page that it has some problems. We'd been trying to be really careful about writing it properly for wikipedia. Are there any areas specifically you thought weren't right that we could work on? Thanks for your input! rebeccairv (talk)

@Rebeccairv: The only problems lie in the history and stances section. Wikipedia should simply state facts, and opinions should be attributed. For example "Its beginnings started earlier on in Jordan as a reaction to all the regional transformations around the country.", now it is true that the region is undergoing a transformation but who says this movement is a "reaction"? The answer should certainly not be Wikipedia. Another opinion "who took notice of this moment in history". Promotional material like "clear-cut program","the key tenants of the Ma'an List's stance" . Also nothing is attributed here "Citizens will be able to participate in a society where responsibilities and rights are equally-shared; so equality is attained through the division of authorities and modern laws which are able to save the economy from debt and transform Jordan into an country where people live securely.". etc... @Makeandtoss: thanks for your reply! Totally understand what you mean about the history. I'll work on editing those things. In terms of stances is it ok to outline the different stances on issues? I feel it is a neutral narration of their position on different things, but just wondering your thoughts. rebeccairv (talk)
Initially I thought no, but then I looked at other political parties wiki articles.. Makeandtoss (talk) 05:27, 16 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
I thought the same, thanks! Rebeccairv (talk) 11:49, 16 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
