Mention is made of a Motorail service through the Severn Tunnel. Any source for this?Patrick lovell (talk) 17:23, 13 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

The article mentions that the M48 is anomalously numbered as it should be a '5x' Motorway. However the road numbering plans in the UK do not apply to Motorways, and they generally are numbered either to replace the appropriate A road, or in order of their construction roughly associated with their proximity to another A road. This route is numbered as such as the nearby A48 also crosses the Severn and both roads meet at Chepstow. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.169.150.50 (talk) 13:04, 13 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Junctions

edit

I have removed the second bullet point after the junctions table, it was unnecessary, and was out of place, instead I have integrated it into the text above. Thatmotorwayguy (talk) 12:17, 1 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
