Hmm... this article could easily be a lot longer than the article about the whole opera. Willi Gers07 (talk) 18:12, 7 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

It probably could, but my teachers insist on making the last two months of school the busiest and I'm not much of an article writer anyways :/ Any suggestions? Icy // 21:53, 7 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

KGoe (talk) 18:59, 23 December 2012 (UTC) this page is linked to a ru.wikipedia 's page about the name Taessia ( = Таисия; - a page about a female name derived from a Greek Θαΐς) - that has nothing to do with "Meditation_(Thais)". I don't know how to fix this linking, so I made this notice - maybe someone who can will. 23/12/12Reply

Meditation (Thais) the probable inspiration for Hi Lili Hi Lo edit

It seems probable that Bronislaw Kaper (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bronislau_Kaper) was inspired by Meditation when he wrote Hi Lili, Hi Lo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hi-Lili,_Hi-Lo) for the movie Lili (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lili). I cannot find anything on the internet indicating that this connection has been established, and I am no historian. What do you think? Here are youtube versions of both:

Itzhak Perlman's performance of Meditation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PfNnAs6C88

The song from the movie (similarity is in the chorus): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8C8z1wUn9A4

I haven't listened to the entire opera to see if there are any other similarities.

If the general agreement is that Kaper does appear to have borrowed from the opera, how do we prove it? Is it permissible to add an entry to the article(s) indicating that there is speculation that Kaper was inspired by this entr'acte? If permissible, would anyone here like to do it? I am a new user (this is my initial entry into wiki-contributions). Thank you! ```` — Preceding unsigned comment added by A Michener (talkcontribs) 15:01, 20 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
