- This article contradicts itself
First, it says that "communist agitators had an important role in radicalising the miners.", but then it says "the communists' overall role had been small" - It contains orignal research:
"As these actions had an air of sabotage, it appears very likely that communist agitators had an important role in radicalising the miners." - unattributed claims:
"communist agitators were active in the spring of 1929 in the Jiu Valley"
"in order to prevent the mines from being flooded and those underground from being asphyxiated" - And weasel words:
"it appears","According to later testimony,"
