Removal of an unverified (and potentially outdated) statement Suggestion

The second paragraph of this article was added in 2007 by an unregistered user making a statement that is not verified and mentioning a time frame that is not specified. Despite this the statement is still in the article 15 years later. I think it's time to remove it. Thoughts?  Junglenut | Talk 03:18, 22 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

That's well-spotted. I added a date. I am somewhat familiar with these plants and I think that some of the identified species are the same, but they take different forms.
