editI'm not really clear why this is under the Jewish Museums/Jewish History category. Doesn't the historic site cater to all 20 ethnicities who were tenants in the building; indeed, to American immigrants generally? Ndriley97 (talk) 01:41, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
- Fair question. The answer may lie in the fact that the Museum features offers tours that tell the true stories of several Jewish families (one from Prussia, one from what is now Turkey, and two from Eastern Europe). You are correct, though, that the Museum aims to tell the stories of all immigrants, past and present. The article should be included in other WikiProjects for those groups, but I don't know how to add those things. . . . --BFDhD (talk) 19:39, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
- That makes sense. It also makes sense because it has signficance to the Jewish community, particularly those who have roots in NYC.Ndriley97 (talk) 00:28, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Nonprofit, yes?
editShouldn't the "management" section indicate that this is a nonprofit institution? Would it be possible to make that change in the Infobox under "Governing Body?" Thanks!--BFDhD (talk) 19:41, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

editTo add to this article: at least one photo of the interior of the museum (including reconstructed tenement apartment). 173.88.246.138 (talk) 15:50, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
Tenement House Act section does not belong
editThis section is certainly interesting, but is not presented as having anything at all to do with the LES Tenement Museum, and it should be removed. 24.6.0.156 (talk) 18:18, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
