Famous Lochee

Cox a Dutchman????
editThe claim here is that James Cox was a Dutchman and was called something else (not specified) before changing his name to Cox.
However, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camperdown_Works says he was "the son of James Cock of Foggyley and Helen Scott." If so, not Dutch at all.
