Merge edit

I propose to merge these two pages into one (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Locally_finite_group and https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%9B%D0%BE%D0%BA%D0%B0%D0%BB%D1%8C%D0%BD%D0%BE_%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%BD%D0%B5%D1%87%D0%BD%D0%B0%D1%8F_%D0%B3%D1%80%D1%83%D0%BF%D0%BF%D0%B0). These pages are about the same object in different languages. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.202.130.191 (talk) 14:22, 29 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

We need to merge the Wikidata entries (Q6664682 and Q4265740), not the articles themselves. I'm not familiar with Wikidata, so I'm not sure of the best way of doing that. --Zundark (talk) 15:32, 29 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
I agree with your remarks. Unfortunately, I do not know how to do that too. But it seems that here is algorithm how to do that (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Merging). - 91.202.130.191 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.202.129.197 (talk) 23:23, 1 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
That page doesn't seem to say anything about merging Wikidata. But I found wikidata:Help:Merge, and followed the instructions there. It worked, so the English, Russian and Polish articles now all link to one another. --Zundark (talk) 08:33, 2 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
