What is the pronunciation of this name? And what does it mean for a church to be elevated to a "villa"

Pronunciation is one of /ʎukmaˈʒo/, /ʎukmaˈʒoɾ/, /ʎukmaˈʒɔ/, or /ʎukmaˈʒɔɾ/. o in a stressed syllable in Catalan can be either open-mid /ɔ/ or close-mid /o/; and word-final r is silent in some words but not in others (rather like French), and I don't know if this is one of them. As to the second question, the German original from which I translated this is not clear at all what it means to be "elevanted to a 'villa'" or even whether it was the church or the town itself that was so elevated.
