Origin of the name?

From my studies of Welsh history and the Welsh language, the prefix Llan means Church in Welsh. Additionally, a large Welsh settlement called the Welsh Tract was estabilished in Pennsylvania. I wonder if anyone can confirm this? Drachenfyre (talk) 10:43, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think could have some relevance to the show, since the Welsh Tract make reference to the one of the settling families "Roberts" and there being a "Roberts Family" in the show. I dunno. --Yllianos (talk) 17:09, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

lol! Clearly a Welsh connection! There are sections of the city called: Llanfair (1177 Regency Drive) - Victoria Davidson, Natalie Buchanan and Charlie Banks and Llanfair Carriage House - Miles Laurence. Llanfair is welsh for (St.) Mary's Church! I only recently started watching this show as my work schedule changed. Up until I looked it up here on Wikipedia I had thought they were saying Landview!
